The Cleveland Darter Club had the privilege of participating in the Scottish Games this weekend. We had the pleasure of meeting a wide range of dart enthusiasts—from novice and regulars, to retired veterans returning to the sport. Participants came from all across the state—from Northeast Ohio to Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo, and Marietta—as well as from as far away as Wisconsin and West Virginia. The event was filled with excitement, from the parade of Clans and thrilling knight sword fights to axe throwing and of course the delicious food.
A big thank-you goes out to everyone who braved the long hours and summer heat—helping with setup, teardown, and sharing dart tips with visitors—to make our presence at the Scottish Games a success. This includes Derek Fess, Garrett Fess, Mr. Fess, Jeff Heath, Mike Jarvis, Audra Heath, Cesar Andino, and Jim Timko. And a very special shout-out to Kathleen Mazur for taking on a last-minute task and completing it so quickly.
Axes flew and bagpipes played,
Our dart club was proudly displayed.
With kilts and smiles and bullseye tricks,
Cleveland Darter Club returns in 2026!
