During my recent business trip to France, I stumbled across an unexpected gem — a local darts club in the small town of Mocan, France.
This brand-new Mocan Darts Club had just put up four shiny boards and proudly hung their new sign. You couldn’t miss the awesome detail: a corkscrew-point dart in the logo — a nod to their creative spirit and love for the game.
I asked how it all came about, and the players said they were inspired by the World Cup match and the incredible performance of the French player. That passion brought them together to build their club — proof that darts really does connect people all over the world.
They kindly invited me to throw a few matches with them, and we had a blast trading tips. It was such a great atmosphere — everyone was so excited to share the oche with a visitor from abroad.
It was the perfect reminder of what makes this sport special: new friends, new stories, and the same great game — wherever you are in the world.

Mocan Darts Club — keep those boards warm! I can’t wait to see how your new club grows.
