ADO New Ranking System

The American Darts Organization is proud to introduce the ADO 2026 Ranking System, a modernized ranking structure designed to make ADO competition more fair, transparent, and performance-driven.

Under the new system, ranking points are directly tied to singles event prize money, ensuring that stronger events carry more weight and that players are rewarded for competing — and succeeding — in the most competitive fields. The system also introduces a 15-event cap, meaning only a player’s best 15 results over a rolling 52-week period count toward their ranking.

Key highlights:

  • Points are calculated from actual event payouts

  • Larger, higher-payout tournaments earn more ranking value

  • National Qualifiers and ADO Nationals carry special weighting

  • Rankings operate on a rolling 52-week window

This new structure replaces the legacy regional and base-point model and brings ADO rankings in line with how modern competitive darts is measured worldwide. The following calculator can be used to determine how many points are awarded at any event based on the singles event payout and the number of players in that event. For example, the Las Vegas Open Gold WDF singles Open event has $9280 payout and the Women’s event has a $4040 payout. So the winners will earn 928 points and 404 points respectively.
