Local Community Steps Up to Back Danny Russano’s Journey

The community came together to show support of one of our own. Danny Russano earned his 2026 Championship Darts Circuit Tour Card on December 14th. Only tour card holders are eligible to compete on the CDC Main Tour, making this a significant milestone in any player’s darts career.  Danny becomes the second member of the Cleveland Darter Club to earn this prestigious honor, following his good friend Kevin Yasenchak.

The Championship Darts Circuit is North America’s professional darts tour and provides the highest level of competition on the continent. With 16 long-format 501 tournaments over six weekends, Players earn their cards through the annual CDC Q-School, with spots allocated based on attendance. Tour Card holders can compete in the top-tier CDC Main Tour, which is a key pathway for North American players to reach events like the PDC World Darts Championship, World. The Cards are typically valid for two years, and holders are generally expected to participate in the majority of, if not all, scheduled tournaments.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support from our community and friends. From donated baskets to handcrafted dart tables and tablet holders—and everyone who showed up in support—every meal ticket purchased and every raffle or sideboard entry has made a real impact. Because of you, Danny is one step closer to attending more events on the Circuit Tour. Thank you for being part of his journey!

Of course the night couldn't end without a dart tournament. We had such a great turn out, causing some delay in the event start time but what a great problem to have.
