Cleveland Darter Club Members Shine at the 37th Frank Perrico Memorial Open

The Youngstown Dart Association put on its 37th Frank Perrico Memorial Open during the last weekend of February. We had so many outstanding performances from our Cleveland Darter Club members, that an article on it was a must!

If you haven’t attended this tournament before, you should definitely consider it for next year. It’s a great option if you’re just getting started outside of league play. Also, if you have any young ones throwing, this tournament has a great youth turn out on Sunday morning. This year we had Gabe, son of Vince and Heather Walker earning the 13-15 year old 501 championship. Later Gabe and Vince even played together in the Open Doubles Cricket and earned a top 32 spot. What a memorable moment between father and son.

 In 501 Open Doubles Gary Rice and Vince Walker,  In Open Single cricket Ray Skrovan, Ladies Doubles 501 Liz Jernejcic and Lindsey Prochaska, Ladies 501 Marlise Kiel, 501 Mix Doubles Marlise Kiel and Kevin Yasenchak. In Open Doubles Cricket Kevin Yasenchak and Joe Hedrick,  Youth 501 13-15 years Gabe Walker.  WOW! How awesome for our Cleveland Darter Club members. 

We can not forget the great run all the way up to the finals board earning Runner- Up Champion status.
